The two-tap way
How to loop part of a video
Most video players can loop a whole video, but not the ten seconds you actually care about. SnipLoop adds that missing button: mark where the part starts, mark where it ends, and it replays on its own until you stop it.
It works on YouTube and most other sites with a standard web video player, right in Chrome, Edge and other Chromium browsers.
Free for Chrome, Edge, Brave and Opera on Windows, Mac, Linux and ChromeOS. Pro is $7.99 once, with a 7-day free trial.
How it works
- Hover over the video and tap ● Start loop here when the part begins.
- Tap ■ End loop here when it ends. It loops immediately.
- Missed it? Tap Replay last 10s to loop what just happened.
- Fine-tune either edge by half a second, or drag the A and B handles on the timeline.
Questions
Can I loop just one part of a YouTube video?
Yes. YouTube only loops the whole video, but SnipLoop loops any section you mark, from a couple of seconds to several minutes.
Do I need to install software?
No. SnipLoop is a free browser extension for Chrome, Edge and other Chromium browsers.
Does it download the video?
No. It tells the player you are already watching to jump back to the start of your loop.
